Strabge Lands (in Alternate World)

This world was messed up. Midnight had no idea how she came across this place; but that wasn't the point. She looked at the rest of her team, also confused. What the hell was going on here? Why were there Poison Tail dragons swarming the skies? It was like this whole area had been taken over by Poison Tail. It was wrong. Midnight turned to the dragon standing beside her. "Well? Any thoughts?"

"Yeah one, bet the crap out of them" Spirit replies

Midnight frowned. "If there weren't that many dragons up there, we'd be fine." She said in a flat tone. "Anyone have any thoughts that won't potentially kill us?" She said to the test of the team.

I've got one. Just one.
*Dread Pauses, looking up at what appears to be our impending doom*
We gather the stones.
Before they do.
That is why they're here after all, right?
"He says, eyeing his surroundings"
With the power they hold, surely we can defeat the poison tails, right?
*Dread pauses once again*
If only they would land. They really are unnerving me.
"he says, cracking his neck nervously"

Midnight looks towards Dread. "Yes. There is a possibility that there ate element stones here, but." Her voice trails off. "See how this place is…different to our world. The Poison Tail may not want the stones here." She said, watching the countless dragons roaming the skies. "Funny. There seems to be more Poison Tail members here..."

Oh, "Dread says,"
This might have something to do with why they are there are so many...
*Drops Posion Tail Amulet of Strength*
This was from their last leader, many moons ago "says Dread, avoiding eye contact with the rest of the group"

Midnight looked at the Amulet. "I never thought of their last leader. I've only known Kei." She said. "So, how's this going to work?"

The amulet, or the situation? "asks Dread, detached"
The amulet is activated by a drop of the Poison Tail's current leader's blood;
the situation... doesn't work. not to our favor anyways. The posion tails aren't exactly known for their forgiveness.
*grrrrroooOOOWOOwwlLlllLll*
anyone have food? *asks Dread, looking uneasy*

Midnight reached into her scale pocket and pulled out a large chunk of meat and tossed it to Dread. "For one thing, I have no idea where Kei is. But this situation, the rift closed ages ago so we have to make this work."

*Dread devours the meat in one gulp*
Ah... "he sighs, obviously satisfied"
You know, I'm almost worried about the outcome of absorbing the aura of this place. "Dread says queitly"
Almost.
*He begins to intake Aura from the surroundings, an odd purple haze surrounds him*

Midnight watches as the aura surrounds dread. "You know," She said. "Have you ever considered becoming an elemental leader? You'd be right for the job."

I used to consider it "Dread says, eyes begginning to take on a purple hue, similar to the aura"
I might take it up. But for now, he have bigger problems.
*Dread's black mark turns purple, as do his eyes, lighting up the darkness near him*

"Hm. Ok then." Midnight said watching Dread, interested in his ability.

*Dread finishes absorbing the aura, ready to weild the powers"
Interesting "he says, contemplating"
This is more powers at once then i've ever seen in an area; this place IS different.
*Dread's appearence appears to twist and re-arrange for several seconds*
WHY DO YOU CIRCLE YOUR MASTER? "shouts Kei"

Kei dived downwards, avoiding the other dragons. "This is getting annoying." He growled.

*Dread's transformation completes, revealing him to be disguised as one of the Poison tail warriors. unknown to the others, he chains up the rest of the team*
I'll take it from here, sir "Dread said to Kei, imitating the Posion Tail warriors, and trying to keep his voice steady"
*he begins to lead the team away from the massing of the rest of the warriors*

"That's cool." Said Midnight impressed

We arent out of this yet "says Dread"
Keep it down a little. I have a feeling that Kei may have seen me transform... "he says, periodically looking over his shoulder"

White Wing watched the other dragon lead away the group. "There's something strange about him." Sge thought.

Oh no... "Dread says"
It seems that we are about to exit this area... so my power is beginning to wane "He says, his form already starting to fade"

White Wing watched the dragon begin to change form. "Hm. So, he's returned."

*Dread looks back, and sees White Wing staring at him*
Guys... you go on. Now I know: it's me they want. "Dread says, turning around"
So... this isn't about the amulet? I thought you were done with me, Midnight or not; you aren't here for them, or else you would have flown past me.
*sigh* tell me what you want. maybe we don't need confrontation. and you can't tell me that you're still thinking of trying more experiments. So what is it today? "Dread asks, slightly off-guard"
